DHAR DHAR TRAVELLER... YOU MIGHTY SAGE!

Welcome o Traveller, my spirit mourns for you!

Thank you for crossing my door for entering my domain. My heart shivers witnessing your sight..

Thousands unspoken words rest upon you lips. Thousands years of heritage blossom upon your shoulders.

Thousand miles of dusty road rest upon your feet

Been wondering and praying and asking for you longer than the time could tell

Been washing my face with the Ganges for your light to come...

Been crossing my palms for your bless to rain

Been building temples for your sight to rest upon me

Been marking my forehead for you to build your temple in me

Thank you for coming, O I am not worthy for you…

I now bow my lustful body

Please teach me

Save me

Show me how to travel!

How did you do it? What forced you?

Teach me how to detach myself from the world and my luggage. Do I really need a luggage to travel? Where is your luggage then?

My luggage is my puny world, my poor spirit, my raw intellect, my thirsty senses, my mundane affairs, my struggle to survive. Survive for what?

You know my past you play with my present and you did not define my future? You say I can do that.

Can I? Worthy am I?

You have come to me… So I must be!

You have no luggage. Divinity is your water, blessings is your food, the world is your clothes. And yet I was taught to reject divinity to forget blessing do deny the world.

O mighty one…

My deeds choke me, the winds avoid me, only cold walls and their pillars surround me. Was that my fight, my goal? Infinite plains waited for me and I choked myself in concrete and walls. With my will to give shape to everything, to be able to explain everything...

... Can’t I accept just a little bit of mystery to exist in this world? Do I have to bring everything into shape and finity? How did I come to reject infinity?

O Mighty one, mourn upon this fallen soul!

Teach me how to travel

You walk bare feet, but I will still need shoes.

Yet you still open a road for me

Teach me how to travel it.

Save me!

THE UNIVERSAL FORMULA FOR THE NATION

Few days ago I have developed a fundamental discussion with my roomie, here in India, for which I feel strong urge to share it with you.

After we have reconciled together in the room after the finish of our working day, my roomie manifested unusually high level of apathy and exhaustion.  We had a small talk about our working day during which I noted that my rommie feels disappointed by people generally, by their conservatism and neutrality.  The root of this mood was the campus recruitment that he conducted in a prominent university in Delhi. He could not understand how young people aged around 22-23 can manifest such apathy and disinterest, non seriousness and shallowness in their general knowledge on general topics.

He identified the root of this problem to be lying in these kid’s families which are financially well situated and satisfy every need of their kids without letting them put some effort to achieve the goal.
About the later, I had to support him and tell him that he was right.

About the former, I have presented him a formula instead of an answer:

Nation = People + Ideas

How many of you would agree that most of your life disappointing moments came from people, masses, their formlessness, mediocrity and apathy?

Did you ever get disappointed by an idea so far?

That is what I said to my roomie!

A great similarity between India and Macedonia is the ancient history and the rich heritage. Rich heritage is a true volcano of ideas.

Ideas are free and do now have an owner. They literally float in the air and are available for everyone of us. All that is required is a person or a nation to grasp that idea so that the idea comes to life.

Once the idea penetrates and melts inside us, into what is being called Anima, Atma or Soul, a symbiosis happens that brings mutual benefits. The idea was previously invisible, but now it got a body, a face. The person that has embraced that idea becomes the idea, the idea literally flourished through his pores and now everyone else is able to see the idea through the 5 senses. That is how the idea gets reproduced, it becomes a virus. Is it not a fact that it is easier for us to accept what we can see smell and touch?

On the other side, the idea contains a huge amount of energy. The moment when a certain person accumulate and stand for that idea, he gets blessed with the energy from that idea. That person is no longer one of us, the energy he possesses, the path he starts to walk is not the same as ours.  That energy is gift, a reward for the person that decided to stand for the idea. These individuals easily transform into prophets, philosophers, business giants etc.

What do you think kept alive Nelson Mandela 27 years in prison? Or Martin Luther King? What has turned the tiny 50 kg person called Mahatma Gandhi the father of a gigantic nation like India, the person that chased away the supremacy of mighty Britain?

These are people that left the world as it is and fully surrendered themselves to an idea, to that trans dimensional creature so that they can come back again and change the world.

Therefore my friends never give up your nations, because the nation is not a simple mathematical sum of the number of people that live in a certain territory. Like India, our heritage, the Universal Truth is here, it just waits to be asked for and embraced.

Do not seek short term sense pleasure and do not get disappointed by the masses that refuse to understand you. Masses are nothing else but void waiting to be filled with something, with and idea, waiting to be directed. That is a simple fact that was well known to number of prophets and manipulators since ancient history and they utilized it to move humanity towards themselves but of course with diametrically opposite reasons and motives.

Have a nice day

THE MANIFESTO OF QUEST AND CHANGE

You are probably getting refreshed from this New Year celebration routine, no matter the type, so now may be a great time to share few words with you that may or may not help you define who you are and where you wanna go…

You are already guessing – I will be talking about New Year resolutions.

To be honest, I am not a big fan of New Year resolutions. The term resolution somehow sounds too formal, too rigid, a term that may force us to understand it deadly serious so that after few weeks we catch ourselves again deviating from what we have written on that piece of paper. If you ask me, the term resolution always associates me to United Nations, an organization that frequently deviates from its annual goals and promises.

Therefore I prefer to refer my self to something that is called Manifesto – Less formal framework for all of us that don’t want to condition ourselves exactly like robots, that are not afraid to deviate temporarily from what we have written and to make a mistake, but also for all of us that are not afraid to come back and review what is being written, to face the deviation and to correct ourselves.

That is the beauty of a Manifesto. It allows us to be humans with all our beauty and imperfection and allows us to come back and review it throughout the year if we feel the need for positive change. Reviewing and changing our personal manifest is simultaneously our personal review and change. People that are capable of changing themselves are the most stable people you will ever have in your life.

Let’s cut it short – This is your Manifesto of Quest and Change

  • I will give more. I will give without waiting to receive. Request to receive may follow later or  may not follow at all
  • I will do more. I will do more without waiting for something in return, maybe without the knowledge of the person that is supposed to receive the result of my doing. Sacrifice is one of the divine abilities. The person that truly sacrifice himself doesn’t even see his act as sacrifice. For him it is just another act of love.
  •  I will read more. I will read more in order to understand more and to judge less. The society that surrounds me is artificial and condition my beliefs and attitudes,  making me forget that the Universal Truth is entirely different. Reading makes me humble and recognize that I am still not able to understand everything, but at least I am trying.
  •  I will write more. I will write in order to learn to conduct a dialogue on a different spiritual level, I will write in order to change myself, I will write in order to discover my own vulnerability  and to show the world that I am not afraid of who I am.  I will write to inspire others embrace their gift. Blog, book or magazine – I will write and my words will flood the world.
  • I will learn a new skill. Writing, programming, playing musical instrument – I will upgrade myself  and re-craft the old wisdom
  • I will be more grateful. I will learn to say thanks to the small things, and to all those who gifted me their act of attention. Gratitude is like a prayer – we pray for the good of everything we have so that we receive even more of it. Through gratitude we release ourselves from the eternal cycle of Hope-Expectation-Disappointment and we open ourselves for the Master plan.
  •  I will fight. I will fight not for fulfilling the wishes of my limited mind, but instead, I will fight for others, for their justice and fulfillment. I will stand in front of the afflicted with my body as shield and my spirit as spеаr and if I get hurt, my cry will finally awake thousands of others.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LAW OF PEOPLE AND THE LAW OF GOD

... Is a simple one, perfect, omnipresent difference .

I have been noticing lately plentiful emotional outbursts by people in my network of contacts as this one:

If faith never actually intended to allow two people to be together, then why it allow them to meet anyways?

That is an interesting question – Why?

As a start who says that two people that destiny has brought together cannot be together?

People

Their laws?

What is the difference between laws created by people and those universal laws created by God?

That difference is a single one

THE LAWS OF GOD ARE PERFECT!

THE LAWS OF PEOPLE ARE NOT!

How can we create perfect laws when we don’t even fully understand the matter that will be included in these laws?

How can these type of laws make others think that two human beings that were brought together by destiny (the laws of God) could never be together?

There is another proof – Proof for the brokenness of the society we live in!

That is why we could commit to these laws only temporarily  Until we feel and start pursuing the next breakthrough opportunity. In that case we deserve to be free, to remove ourselves from the bonds, we have the right to be alone.

God says that anyone who will break his law can again returns to his arms in case He/She repent.
The laws of people also allow clemency. But just a mechanical one. Any person who would break them will never have the same place among us. We would never forgive that person completely altough deep inside, we would like to do that.

That deepness is precisely where God has chosen to put his Laws. In the only place that does not belong to this world. In our soul.

However, we do not do that, because we are poisoned by the laws of people, by the laws of imperfect being, by the imperfect laws.  We choose to ignore the perfect laws of God that He has put inside us, because He forgives completely and impeccably  and hence we feel the need to do the same thing. Because we are made in accordance to his image and essence.

However, we don’t know how. We are imprisoned by the imperfect laws, made by few arrogant persons that though that they have the potential to explain the unexplained  but at the same time with such pride to never admit the opposite.

And we never dare to break these laws.

There is another proof – Proof of the brokenness of the society we live in.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY

Which place can give you better answer to this question if not India – the land of spirituality and mysticism.

Few recent life experiences has finally enabled me to discover the answer to this question that has resided inside me not for months but for years. Here in India, it is not difficult to get an answer to every question or dilemma in your life; the problem is that most often India does not give you a choice to choose how would you discover the answers you seek – the easier or the harder way.

What is the difference between religion and spirituality?

I will attempt to give the full response to this question no matter the reaction it might cause inside the reader.

Religion is nothing more but a system of rules, a structure of control that bounds people from ancient times through their biggest fear  - the fear of the unknown. Bring me a person that is not afraid of the unknown and I will be the first one to touch his feet.

Religion keeps us prisoners and tortures us.

Religion teaches us that we should keep ourselves away from  those who do not practice religion. It preach how to protect ourselves from the demons thereby being filled with criteria how to recognize or categorize something or someone as demon. It puts the demons as company inside our mind every day.

On the other hand....

Spirituality is above religion

Spirituality means liberation from the bonds, rules, reality; it means total freedom of life that is only shaped by the choices we make.

Spirituality enables us to breath freely and to touch our true potentials and our ability of immense love, it relieves us from the feeling of guilt which is the main control mechanism of religion.

Is there a greater factor that prevents us from reaching our true potential than feeling guilty?

Can a person that feels guilty resist any kind of influence?

Spirituality does not clasify people based on the religion the belong, but instead sees them as equal part of an Universal equation.  Spiritual people are aware about the Universal Laws that come from one single origin, Maker and about the energy that is not only up in heaven as religion  says but also down here between us.
They are with peace towards the world and themselves.

Religion teaches us to be quite and pale during the liturgy!

Spirituality makes us dance on the music that we hear from outside, through a strive that unexplained comes from inside.

Religion says – Keep away from him, He worships idols.

Spirituality says – Come, be my Light

What do you think God prefers for you? To be religious or to be spiritual?

That is why world’s biggest spiritual movement ISKCON says:

Abandon all varieties of religion and come to us!

Have a nice day

The difference between "FORGIVE ME" and "TRY TO UNDERSTAND ME"

Do you think that there is a difference between these two statements?

If you had a fight with a friend, or any other dear person in your life, what would you like to hear?

FORGIVE ME or
PLEASE UNDERSTAND ME

I wouldn't be wrong if I say that you would like to hear the first statement rather than the second. Right?

What if I tell you that those two statements are exactly the same?

What if I tell you that both statements contain the same request, directed towards you?

Would you agree with me?

My experience has taught me that, Yes – The two statements have the very same meaning. Other person directly asks for forgiveness, in attempt to restore the relationship with you, or may ask for understanding which is another form of forgiveness when he still doesn’t know how to express a request for forgiveness, or is difficult to put himself in more difficult situation. That doesn’t mean that he or she doesn’t really want forgiveness, it is just a natural instinct to prevent our self of discomfort and mild humiliation. Directly asking for forgiveness requires enormous emotional stretching.  We all have this self defending mechanism and we don’t have the right to accuse anyone on this.

They both mean the same. It is our pride and ego that makes the difference in the two and gives us greater satisfaction when we hear request for forgiveness rather than request for understanding. They are both ways for a person that cherishes you to approach and love you again. It is mostly us who make that difference and fail to understand the other person.

If we agree to understand that, it would means that we also have to accept some personal responsibility for the situation which makes us uncomfortable because it is easier to assume that the other party is fully accountable and we are the ones who suffer, the martyrs.

If we are asked forgiveness, then we subconsciously we glorify ourselves as winners, the other person admits the mistake and admits that he needs us more than we need them.

That gives us short term satisfaction. But is this really the right thing?

What is best to do?

Start accepting requests for understanding and contemplate on them genuinely.

They also mean requests for forgiveness

Strive to be able to understand more than to be able to forgive!

Once you learn to understand, the balance will be easier restored and there might be even no need for seeking forgiveness.

On the other side, once the other person feels completely understood, will ask you for forgiveness without you having the need of it.

Sometimes it really can be that simple.

THE PASSENGERS OF THE LAST METRO - WHY ARE THEY DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE REST!?

Whenever I am outside in the city here in Delhi I prefer to take the last metro that is supposed to take me to my destination. In order to do that, I spend a bit extra time with people I meet, or if we are supposed to finish the gathering bit earlier, than I spend some time in quite walk trying to feel the pulse of the city and the night atmosphere.

All this just to take the last metro for the day, somewhere around midnight.

What is so special about this?

Why I prefer to remain late just to catch the last metro?

Not only to avoid the crowd which is normal appearance in Delhi Metro in the earlier hours of the nights.

Because the passengers that can be seen in that metro are different from all the rest.

If you travel the metro by day you will be forced to practice your own ability of patience and tranquility while staffed in few inches of space surrounded with lifeless faces who just like you can’t wait to reach their destination and to leave the loaf of people inside.

However that is not the case with the passengers in the last metro.

They are different than anyone else.

What is different about them?

Let's first divide them in 2 groups:

GROUP 1- They are relaxed. Energy can be noticed on their faces and the spark in their eyes just seems to be waking up although it is late at night.

These are people that have decided to spice their own story, to leave their comfort zone, and to add variety in their life.

They are persons who despite their programmed working engagement in corporate entities 8-10 hours a day, have decided to break the routine and to dive into something new temporarily Attending a party, event, visiting a friend, to whom there is some time since they last told him/her how glad they are that they are part of their life.  Maybe tomorrow they will be sleepy for work, but they will also know that:

.... YESTERDAY THEIR STORY HAS GROWN!

GROUP 2 - Part of these passengers are again employees who came back from their extended working time. It is easy to recognize them. Most of them sleep during the journey and sometimes even miss their destination. You cannot notice the spark in them, because even if it exists, it is closed inside the eyes that are faced towards the floor. Their plan, their story for tomorrow is defined in advance, and can be described in only one word – SAME!

The first are usually in small groups of 2 or 3 people. You can notice smile instead of tiredness on their faces while discussing about the lovely moments or person with whom they spent their time. Their story is not a straight line of routine and mechanics, they liberate them selves frequently, shake their day, and the burden of obligations and excuses is no longer able to control and define them.

The energy they manifest exceeds the metro facility and penetrate your hearts. It makes you addicted with the desire to be always in its presence.

That is why I prefer to take the last metro, here in Delhi!
